Sesquicentennial Celebration of Potawatomi Light

The Pottawatomie Lighthouse located in Rock Island State Park is turning 150! To mark this significant milestone, the Friends of Rock Island are hosting a Sesquicentennial Celebration on Saturday, May 17, 2008, during the annual Door County Lighthouse Walk. Please join us for cake and refreshments on the lighthouse grounds beginning at 1:00 PM. Washington Island musician Julian Hagen will be performing, commemorative lighthouse items will be for
sale, and you will be able to enter a raffle for an original lighthouse painting and a handmade lighthouse quilt. At 5:30 PM same evening, a banquet will be held at Karly’s on Washington Island. Space for the evening event is limited to the first 120 people who sign up.
