This is a restored turn of the century two story country farm house that is located on 21 peaceful acres. The farm is very secluded and quiet. It is surrounded by big trees and meadowland full of birds, deer, turkeys, pheasants and other wildlife. There are 2 units to rent in the home.

Upstairs Unit
There is a large bright, 3 bedroom unit with a separate outside entrance. It has a full bath, kitchen and living area. Bedrooms: one room has 2 twins, one has 1 day bed, and the master bedroom has 3 twin beds. This unit sleeps 5/6 people. It is bright and airy with big windows that allow you to see the beautiful country side as well as abundant wild life and stunning sunsets. The house is comfortably furnished and spattered with antiques. It’s a very cozy place relax.
Downstairs Unit
The downstairs unit has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed and a sofa bed in the living room. It has a large kitchen, full bath and large living room. There is a walk out deck in the back of the house. It is also bright and well lit by the big windows that allow you to see into the woods and meadows. The downstairs will remind you of by gone days with the home’s modernized, old country charm.
It is very conveniently located in the center of the island, close to all of the sights of Washington Island. It is a short distance to the beaches, museums, restaurants, nature center, art center, docks & stores.

For people interested in taking their horse on vacation with them, we hope to be able to offer horse facilities later in 2008. We are planning on having shelters and corals built to enable you to bring your equine friend along for long rides or drives in the country. (Excellent spot for carriage driving, 80 miles of roadways with very little traffic.)
